first off, please forgive any misspelling, i suck at spelling!
it really ails me when "they" say they can find no meaning in the bible, i find meaning in every part! although it might not state everything in lamen terms, hell, i can probably tell you what any verse means in the bible!
the only sort of "code" ive ever found, is a sort of fun one: god says, "i am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end" and the firt word in the bible is "in" and the last word is "Amen" in amen! get it? kinda cool hu?
as far as bible code/torah code/religious code goes, why does anybody need it even if it does work? the old Jesus saying goes: why worry about yesterday, when yesterdays already gone and past, and why think of tomorrow, when today has enough problems of its own!
God Bless!

@me,
<blockquote>Secondly, your statement about discoveries only being made after the fact is quite wrong - there is at least one exception that I'm aware of, which was several years ago and there are probably more by now.</blockquote>
What a knock-down argument! Is it too much to ask for you to <em>say</em> what this exception is? Please do enlighten us!
Or is calling people an "idiot" the only tool you have in your vast arsenal of evidence for biblical prophecy?

Interesting how there have been no witty responses to the people who have pointed out this only really works when done with the original Hebrew text of the Bible. Doing it in a translated version is obviously not the same thing, and is in fact exactly the same as performing the same experiment with Moby Dick - resulting in the sort of random "finds" that you have demonstrated above. Secondly, your statement about discoveries only being made after the fact is quite wrong - there is at least one exception that I'm aware of, which was several years ago and there are probably more by now. All you've really done is prove what a complete idiot you are :)

@Jacques,
It's not my fault that my Google rank is higher than yours. You'll have to work on that yourself.
By leaving a comment that contains your URL, you will actually increase my Google rank even more. My purpose was to show that all Bible codes are nonsense. If you believe otherwise, you'll have to make a convincing argument on your own website, instead of trying to take down sites that disagree with you.

The bible code is done in Hebrew. It is the very nature of the Hebrew language that makes the bible code what it is. Find all that stuff in the Hebrew Torah and I'll be impressed. I understand that you're trying to prove a point but you're not doing a very good job if the experiment itself is flawed.
