Thanks for using my software, which includes such fine titles as DiskDigger, or the ever-popular NTFSWalker and FATWalker.
If you find my programs useful, please consider showing your appreciation and support by making a (modest) donation. Other companies charge as much as $50 for software that's similar to (but actually does less than) DiskDigger. I'm doing this stuff almost as a public service!
However, costs for development time, development utilities, and hosting -- they all add up. Because of this, I won't be able to continue to keep these tools free forever. So, please, consider donating, and help make these software tools even better.

Hey, Just wanted to say thanks a ton for your help. your software, helped me recover files off of a USB thumb drive I'd accidentally quickformatted fairly well. Donation on the way to you!
May 17th, 2009 at 5:58 pm
Thanks Dimitry,
the jpg recovery was much appreciated, a donation will follow shortly.
The DiskDigger program found .mpg files as tiny .jpg files. These were from a Sony point-and-shoot W100 camera. I tried various options but it did not find them as .mpg files.
Also, you have a very interesting site, I may look further, thanks, MKM.

Want to donate - but first want to know if you have plans to include a "Delete" from the hard drive feature. I found a lot of junk that i would like to clean off my hard drive. Restoring works great but wont take the file off my hard drive in the sector location indicated. Not a programmer but suspect it might be easy to incorporate a file overwrite on the detected sector location agree??

Thank you so much for your fabulous software. I managed to retrieve 228 deleted photos from my SD card. It worked like a dream, was dead easy to use and meant that pictures from a dream trip to Rome weren't lost forever. Donation on the way.

Thank you so much! Recovered lost photos from a brand new external hard drive that got corrupted. Wonderful!
August 23rd, 2009 at 5:58 pm
Thank you so much! Our xD card got corrupted, and we were only able to get 130 of 275+ pics off the card. Tried 7 other file recovery programs, and none worked. Found yours last (wish I would have found it first, as it would have saved me hours of time and effort), and it was able to find all the remaining pics (except for the couple that were corrupted, but that was the xD card's fault).
Again, you are a Star!!! I will gladly be making a donation, for your time and effort!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I wiped out about 30,000 images and nothing could even find a trace of them except your advanced search.
It’s a bit of a pain saving that many files, because it takes many hours and one has to permanently monitor to select the size of the unknown files.
It took 10 or 12 hours to scan them. I have been saving for about ten hours now and I am almost at sector # 180,000,000. I have to go to Sector # 1,288,573,676 so it will be quite a while yet before I am done.
I will let you know how it works out.
May I make a couple of suggestions that would allow unmonitored operation?
1: Add a “Save all” button.
2: Add a “Yes to all” button in the “Unknown File Size “ dialog box.
3: Have the selected file size stay at the user setting until changed.
4: Have the “Unknown File Size” dialog box stay where it is put until changed.
I know nothing about programming so I have no idea if I am asking a lot or a little but it would be nice if you could add these features.
Thanks for a great program – it’s so rare to find anything that does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Cheers,

FANTASTIC!!!
I'm a programmer, you're a genius.
Formatted and half-installed Windows on an old laptop before realising ("OOPS!") we forgot to move all our photos to the new machine.
Put the old laptop HDD into a "Sharkoon" (ide + sata to usb) connector, plugged it into the new laptop and ran your "Digger" for jpg and bmp files... all pics recovered. PHEW!
Thank you, will definitely donate.

You guys saved my day!!. I was responsible for taking pictures for the yearbook at a school event. When I put the SD card into the reader NO IMAGES appeared and I started sweating. I tried freeundelete.com and it didn't work. Then I tried DiskDigger and I recovered all of my pictures!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now I can share this experience with students at school.

Hello
My name is Mario and I am from Brazil. Is the value of the software for us very high, can you give a discount? thanks
December 26th, 2009 at 8:09 pm
Every other restoration program wanted twenty dollars or more, but I didn't have enough. Your program worked better and was free, so I'll give you all the money that I have
thank you

Everyone has said it before ~ but your prog really got me out of an enormous hole. NTFS file recovery progs found nothing and I was in despair as thousands of key files had been wiped. DiskDigger was found via a laptop with little expectation of success. It worked beyond my wildest dream.

I shall be gladly sending a donation. PLEASE keep up development of the prog. There's a few enhancements which could make life a little easier (e.g. global specification of bytes to be recovered rather than entering for every file).
You should get the Nobel Prize for peace ~ as you seem to have brought that to thousands of users !!!
