1. Peru photos.  Some years ago my son did 6 months tour of S America.  He used to email me his photo as a backup method.   I feel I was there and your photos bring it back to me.

2. What americans say.  Before I became an elder citizen I worked with the UN in many places - Sarajevo - Kuwait Iraq Lebanon Egypt Israel Jordan Cyprus and came across many americans and also russians.

I do know how surprised most russians were when they first met americans.  The old british army joke is &quot;what is the difference between a tub of yogurt and an american?  A= &quot;there is culture in the yogurt&quot;
