Here's something of interest... "The Free Will Theorem". Not sure I agree with it, but intriguing nonetheless.

A hiatus, indeed. I keep wanting to write about so many things at one time, that all of the ideas trying to push through the door are preventing a single one from actually getting through.

This is Feb 10... Jan 19 to Feb 10 is a long hiatus. However, in the quantum-relativistic world, you never know, your absence might only represent the wispiest dflicker/dt of time.

I was tempted to give you "The End of Faith" by Sam Harris, see here but was informed that this wouldn't be a very uplifting Christmas present.

You should check out "Letters From The Afterlife" by Elsa Barker (reprinted in 2004)

I'm reading it now, just finishing it actually, and it gives a lot of insight on stuff in the afterlife. Of course, in order to put any levity on the book, you need to have an understanding of automatic writing, the phenomenon of writing or drawing by either subconscious or ghostly means. In this case, Elsa Barker was channeling the spirit of Judge David Hatch, who decided that the living needed to know about the afterlife to better themselves.
